  4. try this...(my example was 72 dpi...)

  6. 1) New greyscale doc
  7. 2) Render some type (BIG, 150pt, black)
  8. 3) Duplicate to new channel
  9. 4) GaussianBlur@6
  10. 5) offset 6 right and 6 down.
  11. 6) Go to Subtract, Source 1 is channel 2,
  12.     Source 2 is channel 1, scale 1 offset 0.
  13. 7) Invert, voila!

  15. Try multiplying this over wood or stone texture for a carved out look...
